APHC Licensed and Competent Persons Scheme Members must comply with a code of practice setting standards that are to be observed in their dealings with customers. Members are obliged to provide customers with clear information on services offered, pricing policy and a timetable in respect of work to be carried out".

By choosing an APHC accredited Competent Persons' Scheme Contractor to carry out your domestic plumbing contract, you can choose to purchase an insurance backed warranty to protect you against the costs of rectification of defective workmanship. The warranty is for six years and protects against the cost of defective workmanship up to a maximum sum of £10,000.
